Senori is a design studio rooted in the ancient art of origami — reimagined into handcrafted lamps, installations, and decor that fold light, emotion, and geometry into meaningful forms. Every piece is made with intention, precision, and spirit.
2. Are all your products handmade?
Yes. Every product at Senori is entirely handcrafted, fold by fold. The design process involves thoughtful pattern-making, precise folding, and delicate assembly, often taking hours or even days depending on the complexity.
3. How do I maintain and clean Senori products?
Senori products are meant for indoor use only. To clean, gently brush off dust with a soft, dry brush (like a paintbrush or makeup brush). Avoid water, sprays, or moisture. Keep the products away from direct sunlight and humidity to retain their form and finish.
4. Can I customize a lamp or artwork?
Yes. We offer customization for colors, size, paper patterns, and lighting warmth. If you have a specific concept, occasion, or space in mind, we’re happy to co-create with you. Reach out via our Custom Orders page or Instagram DM.
5. Do you take bulk or event decor orders?
Yes. We create origami-based event installations, wedding decor, brand experiences, photoshoot backdrops, and more. If you have a theme or vision, we can design something unique that enhances your space and story.
6. Do you ship across India?
Yes, we ship across India from our studio in Bangalore, Karnataka. For international orders, contact us directly via email or Instagram, and we’ll explore possibilities.
7. What materials do you use? Are they sustainable?
We use high-quality art papers, handmade papers, and Japanese folding papers known for their texture and strength. Many of these are eco-friendly and thoughtfully sourced. We also follow minimal-waste practices in our process.
8. How long will my order take to arrive?
All products are made to order and usually ship within 5–10 working days. Larger or custom orders may take more time — you'll receive a timeline at the time of confirmation.
9. What is your return policy?
Each lamp is made to order and carefully inspected before shipping.
Each paper decor product is also inspected for quality and precision.
We do not accept returns or exchanges, unless the product arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect. Please review our Returns & Policies for full details.
10. Can I add a gift note or special message with my order?
Yes! You can leave your gift note at checkout or email us after placing the order. We’ll handwrite it on your behalf and include it in the package — no extra cost.
11. Do you conduct workshops or teach origami?
Yes! Senori hosts design and origami workshops for creative institutions, art lovers, and schools. We also offer custom sessions based on themes like tessellation, kinetic forms, and modularity. Reach out via the Workshops page to collaborate.
12. What does “Senori” mean?
“Senori” comes from Sen (a thousand) and Ori (fold) — inspired by the Japanese tradition of a thousand folds for hope and patience. It also hints at “serenity,” a feeling our pieces are designed to evoke through light, form, and story.
